A. All outfits are proudly designed and manufactured in India.
Q. Are your garments handcrafted?
A. Yes. Most of our garments are handcrafted by skilled artisans.
Q. Why are luxury embroidered outfits priced higher?
A. Our garments involve extensive hand craftsmanship, premium fabrics, intricate embroidery techniques, and many hours of artisanal work.
Q. How many artisans work on one outfit?
A. Depending on complexity, a single garment may involve multiple artisans across embroidery, finishing, tailoring, and quality control.
Q. Can I request fabric swatches?
A. Yes, fabric swatches may be arranged for select couture orders which have colour customisations involved.
Q. Are your garments lightweight or heavy?
A. Each product page includes fabric and embroidery details to help you understand the garment’s weight and structure. Feel free to connect with the team to better understand the weight for a specific style post customisations.
Q. Can outfits be altered later?
A. Most garments include margins for minor future alterations in relation to the circumference of the bust and waist.
Certain design measurements and styling specifications are finalized during the production process and may not be possible to alter once the garment has been manufactured.These may include details such as blouse length, neckline depth or shape, blouse back strap width, sleeve design, lehenga/skirt/pant length, and other construction-related specifications.
Q. Do you work with stylists, celebrities, or influencers?
A. Yes. For collaborations, editorials, sourcing, or celebrity styling, please contact our PR or styling team.
Q. Do you display your garments at any exhibitions?
A. We rarely participate in exhibitions and prefer to keep our presentations selective and limited. On occasion, we may showcase our collections through carefully chosen exhibitions or private events aligned with our brand philosophy and clientele.
Any upcoming showcases or special appearances are announced through our official channels.
Q. How can I stay updated with new collections and exclusive releases?
A. You can follow us on Instagram (@simone_handcrafted) to receive updates on new collections, limited releases, festive edits, bridal launches, and exclusive previews.
Shipping
Q. Do you ship in India?
A. Yes, we ship our garments across India free of cost.
Q. How long does shipping within India take?
A. Normally, it takes within 1 to 5 days depending on which part of India you have requested delivery in. However, we are not in a position to give any assurances on delivery timelines since these are outside our control and coordinated by our delivery partners.
Q. What happens if there is a courier or shipping delay?
A. While we make every effort to dispatch orders within the committed timelines and work with trusted courier and logistics partners, transit delays may occasionally occur due to factors beyond our direct control.
Once an order has been dispatched, delivery timelines are managed by the respective courier service. Delays caused by logistics partners, customs processing, weather conditions, operational disruptions, or unforeseen circumstances are outside our direct control, though our team will always try to assist wherever possible but will not be in a position to provide any compensation or refund or discount for that.
Q. Can I ship one order to multiple addresses?
A. Separate orders must be placed for different shipping addresses.
Returns and Exchanges
Q. What is your return or replacement or refund policy?
A. Due to the handcrafted and/or made-to-order nature of our garments, we do not accept returns, replacements, refunds or any form of exchange. Please read the website terms and conditions prior to placing an order thoroughly.
Q. Are sale items eligible for returns, refunds or replacements?
A. All sales or discounted purchases are considered final sale. No return, refund or replacement is permitted.
Size and Fitting
Q. How do I choose the right size for online orders?
A. You may refer to our size chart available on every product page. These size charts assume a certain set of body measurements for a given bust/waistband body measurement.
Please note that all measurements in the size chart refer to body measurements in inches. Some garments are made looser than body measurements in case it is not a fitted style which is not to be accounted for while selecting a size. If you need assistance, our styling team will be happy to guide you. For custom fitted garments or customisations on neck line, length etc. please connect with our team who will be happy to assist you.
Q. Can I get a custom fitted garment made to my body measurements?
A. Yes, custom-fitted garments are possible. Orders placed directly through the website are processed in standard sizes based on the size chart available on each product page. If you wish to have a custom-fitted, bespoke tailored garment made to your measurements, please get in touch with our team and we will be happy to assist you.
Q. Will a custom fitted garment fit me perfectly?
A. Custom-fitted garments are made based on the measurements shared by the client. However, given the nature of bespoke tailoring and individual body structure, minor alterations may still be required once the garment is tried on.
Without a physical trial and fitting session, we cannot guarantee a perfect fit in the very first trial. We strongly recommend alterations, if required, to achieve the best final fit and finish.
Q. Do you offer larger sizes
A. Yes. We believe fashion should be inclusive and offer extended sizing options for many styles.
We generally do not charge additional costs based on larger garment sizes. However, in certain limited cases, depending on factors such as the design, fabric consumption, intricacy, and surface area of embroidery or handwork involved, additional charges may very occasionally apply. For specific sizing requests or any clarification, please feel free to get in touch with our team — we will be happy to assist you.
Orders and Production
Q. What are standard timelines for dispatch of garments?
A. Typically orders are dispatched around 30 days from the date of placing the order.
However, should you have a requirement for an urgent order in a shorter timeline, please get in touch with our team who will assist you with quicker deliveries where possible.
Q. Can I place an urgent order
A. Yes. Please contact our team before placing the order and we will try our best to accommodate your timeline.
Q. What if my event date changes?
A. Please contact our team and we will try our best to support revised timelines wherever possible.
Q. Can I cancel or modify my order?
A. Orders once placed can not be cancelled or modified.
Q. Do colors appear exactly the same as shown online?
A. We make every effort to display colors accurately; however, slight variations may occur due to screen settings and photography lighting. Further, given that almost all garments are hand dyed, there will always be a slight colour variation in each dye batch. Clients are requested to account for this.
Q. Will there be slight variations in embroidery or color?
A. Minor variations are natural in handcrafted products and are part of the garment’s uniqueness. Clients are requested to account for this.

Q. Can I request a refund or discount if my order is delayed?
As many of our garments are handcrafted and made-to-order, refunds or cancellations cannot be offered on the basis of delivery delays once production has commenced or the order has been dispatched. We strongly recommend placing occasionwear and bridal orders well in advance to allow sufficient time for production, shipping, and any alterations if required.
Q. Does my order include one round of complimentary alterations?
A. All bespoke tailored and made to measure garments include one round of complimentary alterations. We request you to specify all alterations together at the first instance for our team to best assist you.
Customisations
Q. What kinds of customisations do you offer?
A. Customisations presently require offline orders. Minor customizations such as sleeve addition, neckline changes, blouse length, dupatta styling, colour changes or length changes among others may be possible depending on the garment.
We do not change embroidery motifs or change placement of motifs or reduce work for garments in our collection. We also do not change the basic silhouette of the garment. This option is only available for select couture orders.
Q. Can design measurements or styling details be altered after the garment is manufactured?
Certain design measurements and styling specifications are finalized during the production process and may not be possible to alter once the garment has been manufactured.
These may include details such as blouse length, neckline depth or shape, blouse back strap width, sleeve design, lehenga/skirt/pant length, and other construction-related specifications.
We recommend carefully reviewing all customization details and measurements before confirming your order. If you require guidance, our team will be happy to assist you prior to placing your order.

Q. How do I place an order or see the collection if I am based in another city?
A. You can get in touch with our team directly over WhatsApp or call us to place your order from another city. Should you wish to video call our stylists by appointment to see the collection, our team would be happy to assist you. Further, feel free to reach out to any of our stockists mentioned on our website in other cities to have a look at or place orders for any of our garments.
Q. Can I book a private appointment?
A. Yes. Private styling and bridal appointments are available upon request and time of the year.
Bridal and Styling
Q. Do you offer bridal consultations?
A. Yes. Our team offers personalized bridal styling consultations by appointment. We can also assist with bridal trousseau styling, bridesmaids and occasion-based looks available from our collection.
Q. Can I book a virtual appointment?
A. Yes, we offer virtual consultations for domestic and international clients.
Q. I would like to have a matching outfit with my partner. Do you do menswear?
A. On request, we are happy to incorporate aspects of the embroidery on an outfit you have ordered with us for a bundi jacket. Feel free to connect with the team for a coordinated look with your partner.
Q. Do you offer coordinated looks for bridesmaids?
A. Yes. We can assist in creating coordinated looks for bridesmaids, sisters, family members, and wedding guests while ensuring each outfit retains its own individuality and elegance.
Our team can help curate complementary colour palettes, silhouettes, embroidery styles, and occasion-specific ensembles for the entire celebration.
Q. Do you offer special considerations for bridesmaids orders or multiple outfit orders?
A. For bridesmaids, wedding wardrobes, or larger ensemble orders, our team may be able to extend special order considerations depending on the styles and quantities selected.

Q. Do you create completely custom bridal couture designs?
A. Yes, we do undertake select custom couture commissions for brides seeking a truly one-of-a-kind creation.
This process may involve developing an entirely new embroidery concept from scratch, creating custom motifs and artwork, exploring unique colour stories, and designing bespoke silhouettes tailored specifically for the bride and the occasion.
Custom couture commissions are undertaken only for a limited number of clients each season and require adequate design and production timelines. Kindly note that bespoke couture development is available for orders with a minimum value of INR 1,80,000.
To maintain a sense of individuality and exclusivity, such designs are kept exclusive to the extent possible within the season in which they are created.
Product Care
Q. Do beads tarnish with time?
A. All silver-lined beads will tarnish with time and turn darker. To understand which beads in your piece are silver lined or have the potential to tarnish, please get in touch with our team prior to placing your order.
Q. Will the embroidery or embellishments come off over time?
A. Our garments are handcrafted with great care using detailed embroidery and hand embellishment techniques. While we make every effort to ensure durability and finishing quality, slight shedding or loosening of certain embellishments, sequins, beads, threads, or other handworked elements may occasionally occur with wear and handling.
This is a natural characteristic of heavily embellished handcrafted garments. We recommend handling and storing such pieces with care.
Q. How should I clean my outfit?
A. Please only dry clean your garments.
Q. How should I store embroidered garments?
A. We recommend storing garments flat or hanging in an appropriate garment bag away from moisture and direct sunlight.
International Orders
Q. Do you ship internationally?
A. Yes we ship worldwide.
Q. Is shipping internally chargeable?
A. Shipping outside of India is chargeable as per the actual weight and volume of the garment ordered. For international shipping please get in touch with our team who will assist you with courier options which we will organise for you locally.
Q. Will I have to pay customs duties or import taxes?
A. International orders may attract customs duties or local taxes depending on your country’s regulations. These charges are the responsibility of the customer unless stated otherwise.
Q. What precautions do you take for international orders?
A. While any bespoke tailored garment does need alterations, we understand that access to a skilled tailor to alter these garments may be difficult. That said, you may request a few precautions to reduce the chances of any major alterations such as addition of a drawstring in the waistband, stitch lines on the bust margin where possible, extra hook and eye options and so on.
