TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. All orders are executed only as per the order sheet. Changes to the order sheet are not possible once the order is confirmed, even if directly or indirectly communicated otherwise by anyone in the team. 

2. Please verify and confirm the style name on your order sheet with our lookbook. Alternately our team will be happy to assist with a picture of the garment. This is to avoid any ambiguity on the style required by you

3. Blouse length/neckline measurements are non-alterable & cannot be changed after order confirmation. Kindly note that a slight natural sag at the bust may result in a lower neck depth. Our garment patterns are created according to the measurements provided by the client. Clients are requested to account for this. 

4. Blouses with cutwork at the neckline or under bust may not stick to the body owing to the lack of support on either side of the cutwork/jagged edge. Clients are requested to account for this. Similarly, in a corset, the neckline will not stick to the body of the client since the shape of the boning goes vertically upward. Clients are requested to account for this and use body tape appropriately. 

5. Clients are advised that raw silk sleeves may naturally restrict arm mobility. This is an inherent characteristic of the fabric and not a fault in workmanship. 

6. Anything not mentioned on the order sheet will be left to assumption and discretion of the designer. 

7. We request that all alterations must be specified at the first trial. 

8. All delivery dates communicated are approximate. There could be variations in delivery timelines and clients are requested to kindly account for the same. There could be further delays in case of late receipt of payments/complete information or measurements. 

9. Certain fabrics, such as (but not limited to) silk dupion and china dupion, naturally feature slubs as part of their texture. These are inherent to the fabric and cannot be removed or concealed. The placement of slubs is determined during the cutting process at the discretion of the master patternmaker and cannot be altered. 

10. All garments are hand dyed and getting the exact same shade as the sample provided is not possible and there is always a slight variation. Different fabrics catch dye differently even within the same dye bath; clients are requested to account for this. 

11. Since our pieces are hand dyed, colour fading & bleeding is possible & more common on dark colours for which we advise you not to expose the garment in any way to water. 

12. While we make every effort to ensure embroidered beads/materials don't fall off or come out, we can't guarantee the same. 

13. Metallic beads will oxidise and turn darker over time. Hence the sample piece & final piece will look different. 

14. Beadwork is hand done in which case there will be variations between any 2 pieces which we request you to account for and keep in mind. 

15. When the colour of a style or garment is changed, the bead colours may/may not change depending on the style. This decision is left to the discretion of the designer unless the client has specified otherwise (which in turn has to be mentioned in writing on the order sheet, not over text/call) 

16. Any garment made with differing specifications/measurements when compared to the stock/sample piece would have changes in motifs/placements or motifs may be cut off or added at the designer's discretion. Garments with even slightly different sizes will not look identical. 

17. There is no guarantee that reference images shared for neckline/fall/embroidery or inspiration by client will be replicated exactly. Therefore, it is always advisable to go for our existing necklines /embroideries/ concepts. 

18. Due to scaling of artwork for different bodies and sizes, the embroidery will not be a replica of the original piece. 

19. Since garments are made using hand embroidered techniques or hand held artisan operated machines, motif shapes, sizing, shading, neatness and stitches will vary. 

20. For draped garment styles, please note that drape placement and pleat proportions will naturally vary across different sizes. 

21. The length of lehengas and pants can not be increased and there is no vertical margin available. We request clients to account for that and provide us with a preferred length measurement as an increase in length is not possible. A decrease in length on some styles is possible on alteration, albeit with slight gathers on the waistband with lehengas. Fishtail lehengas or shaped garments have a very limited amount of length reduction possible. Please account for this while providing length measurements. 

22. Embroidery is not provided in the margin. 

23. All our garments are bespoke, custom-made to your measurements and requirements. By the very nature of bespoke tailoring, a good fit cannot be expected without alterations. A trial fitting is essential. If you are based outside Mumbai, please allow time to return the garment multiple times to us for adjustments, or arrange for alterations locally at your convenience. 

24. For domestic clients, alterations can be accommodated in person at our studio. For outstation clients, please note that bespoke tailored garments typically require at least two rounds of alterations, and all courier charges for sending and receiving pieces will be the client’s responsibility. As each piece is custom-made to individual measurements, fit adjustments are a natural part of the tailoring process and do not constitute a fault in workmanship. 

25. All garments are to be dry cleaned only. In case of damage caused due to dry clean we may/may not be able to find a solution for the same. If there is a solution it would be chargeable. 

26. Alterations and resizing of the garment is chargeable post final collection of the garment. 

27. We do not provide exchanges/refunds. 

28. All dispatches (Inter-city, within India & Internationally) are only via third party couriers / agencies whom we have been using in the past. We have no control over their delivery schedules & can only provide tracking details to clients on request. Clients are requested to appropriately follow up with courier agencies thereafter for any grievances/status updates/requests for expedited deliveries.

29. Orders are dispatched only after receipt of full payment. 

30. Courier dispatches in a box will be charged extra.
